TRIAD GOLF TODAY JUNIOR TOUR
ADULT and SPECATOR GUIDELINES


Adults are an essential part in making this a quality tour. Your help in paying close attention to the following requests will be greatly appreciated.

Rules and Guidelines:

1. Juniors must carry their own clubs in the 12 -18 age flights. 10-11 may carry or use pull carts. The 9 and Under Boys and the 9 and under Girls age divisions from special tees may use Caddies.

2. Keep a proper distance from the players ( 50 Ft. mandatory). Cart path only.

3. Act as a fore caddy. Cart path only. Keep a distance far enough ahead of the players as not to interfere with the players shot.

4. SPECTATORS MUST STAY ON THE CART PATH OR IN THE ROUGH WITH THE EXCEPTION OF AROUND THE GREENS.
Spectators may go near the greens to watch the players putt.
Make sure you continue to avoid verbal contact with your child. Observe the ADVICE rule!

5. ONLY THE OFFICIAL SCOREKEEPER CAN GO IN THE FAIRWAYS & ON THE GREENS.

6 DO NOT GIVE ADVICE TO ANY PLAYER.
Definition: Advice is any counsel or suggestion which could influence a player in determining his or her play, the choice of a club or the method of making a stroke. PENALTY IS 2 STROKES! Rule 8-1.

7. ABUSIVE LANGUAGE, SWEARING AND ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ON THE COURSE by Spectators or Players. Please report any problems of this nature to the Tournament Director immediately.

8. Do not disrupt the flow of the organization.

9. Pick up any trash you may see left on the course by the juniors.

10. If you see a rules infraction, please remember you are not a player.
You can not point out rule infractions unless you have been asked by the TGTJT Golf Committee to be a Rules Official.

11. WHEN DESIGNATED BY THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR ONLY for Special instances where carts may be used to shuttle players from greens to tees to eliminate the possibility of being accused of giving advice to your child, Do Not shuttle your own child if possible.
